Olerra was born from that one urgent question. Our founder, Brad Ainslie, is a longtime Boulder resident who watched the city he loves grow more expensive with every passing year. From young professionals to service workers, many of the people who make Boulder thrive were finding it harder to stay.
Brad believed there had to be a smarter way — flexible housing that keeps families together, supports homeowners, and makes thriving communities possible. With 25 years across finance, real estate, and sustainable infrastructure, he saw the potential of modular construction to meet the challenge, and in 2023 he launched Olerra Living Innovations to deliver luxury, durable, and affordable ADUs.
